I personally agree with all three articles I read about technology in the classroom. We live in a age now where technology is part of everyday life. I especially like the idea of technology in a learning environment for all ages and grade levels. One technology teaching tool I like the smartboard. I have seen it used in grades from first through twelfth. For the younger grades its a fun tool to get them excited about leaning. There are very interactive teaching methods you can do with a smartboard. Not only can they watch videos or hear sounds but they can also touch it and be more hands on. I also used them in high school which was nice because it changed up learning for us so we didn't get so bored and unmotivated. Other things such as computers and Ipads are great forms of teaching. I like the idea of having laptops that teachers can checkout for in class use. In middle school we had to do a research project using only articles from the internet and had to do a report at the end of it. To this day i still remember which are reliable sites and which are not. For the younger grades its also good because it makes learning fun for them because they are playing games but are also learning things too. In the articles there was talk about Ipads which I don't really think is a good use for learning. The only purpose for them I can think of is as a reward for getting their work done. No matter what we use technology is evolving rapidly and better and better teaching ideas are coming from it.

  1. Technology becomes a fascinating means once it is introduced and applied in the classroom settings. I have seen how technology has evolved through my education road-it's quite a honor to be in the generation of technology evolution. It not only enhances students' motivation in learning but also facilitate the learning to different learners; however, how teachers use technology efficiently and their role to incorporate technology and how human make decisions in the ethical issues are also perspectives we need to deliberate.

  3. I agree that technology is a great tool. But like you said a person. Must first find viable sites. And with using technology a person can get wrong information very easily. At times it can be hard to differentiate these but with the correct mentoring I feel it can be easily obtained. In also agree that technology in education is rapidly evolving and needed.
